About the Artist

Alison Baggio draws from her lived experience as both a midwestern interdisciplinary artist and mother.  She uses materials associated with intimate, personal histories and environments to instigate dialogues about the vulnerability that exists within the domestic space. Baggio is a graduate and Honors Scholar recipient of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she received her BFA in May 2022. She was awarded the Roads Scholarship for Research and Travel in 2022. Her work has been published in the 2021 Issue of Voices Literary Arts Magazine, exhibited at the Spring Undergraduate Exhibit- SAIC Galleries (2022), 280 Building (2021), Clean Space Gallery, Saugatuck, Michigan (2021), Skyway Intercollegiate Art Competition (2021), and Artspace Gallery McHenry, Illinois (2021).
